As those of you that have access to my livejournal know, Friday was a personal holiday of mine. The anniversary of Anne Boleyn's murder. It was also my lovely Adele's birthday.

Coincidence? Hardly.
Though I do think I spent more of the day tending to the memory of my heroine than with Adele's celebrations, I think I still managed to do each equal justice.
I wore my long black skirt and pearls for the day. Appropriate.

Anywho. Yesterday, Mum and I were browsing a few jewelry stores for engagement rings - so I could find out what it was exactly that I like. (I still haven't settled on anything, of course - I plan on visiting Tiffany's before I make my final decision.
I was trying on rings, and my mom pointed one out. The lady retrieved it from the case and said something to the effect of "this one reminds me of something Henry VIII would have given one of his wives." My mom and I nearly died of laughter. My mom explained that she had said the exact thing to the right person.

If I could have a ring that Henry gave to Anne, I think I would be in heaven. I'd marry them in an instant.
